Hypothyroidism - what next?
Hypothyroidism is an endocrine disorder in which the thyroid gland produces less hormone than the body needs. There are two causes:
Temporary - amiodarone, interferon-alpha, lithium-containing drugs, contrast media, low-grade thyroiditis.
Persistent - autoimmune thyroiditis e.g. Hashimoto's thyroiditis, treatment with J131, radiotherapy to the neck, thyroid surgery, pituitary or brain-related diseases.
Complaints of hypothyroidism generally include: fatigue, weakness, dry skin, hair loosening, feeling cold, stomach closed or loose, low or high blood pressure, swelling of the face (hands, feet), "dying" sensation in the hands and feet, hoarse voice, memory loss, weight gain, cycle disorders in women. NOTE: There should be more than one complaint.
Diagnosis and causes are determined by analysis and ultrasound. The treatment involves replacing the missing hormone.

"The first signs of healing in myself have come gradually, little by little, by doing energy work with myself.
I am sharing my story, the beginning of which goes way back in time, when I developed a very serious thyroid condition, hypothyroidism with diffuse goitre. But for now, I am free of chemical thyroid treatment.
I started having strange symptoms 11 years ago. I had gained 10 kg in two months, I couldn't move, I was like a balloon, I couldn't sit properly, I was sweating all the time, my hair was dripping. My organs didn't work properly, they were enlarged, swollen, my heart was pounding, I felt like I had a heart condition, my kidneys were out of order. Well, at the beginning of the first appointment, he was hesitant, and in accordance with the doctor, he said, well, you should go ahead... But to my great appreciation, at the end of the appointment he said, I'm not prescribing you any medicine, you have the ability to heal yourself... And my heart cried out inside, because this is such a great recognition and achievement for me, actually... This situation, which makes a mess of the thyroid gland, whether under- or overactive, is known to those who have had or have this problem. This situation is sometimes pretty bad, and I myself was already in a state of death.
And the doctors' talk that you have to take drugs for life to replace your thyroid is also a false belief. It is. But the causes are tied up in our own emotions and beliefs. I was constantly doing energetic work on myself and my beliefs, always searching and digging into myself and my past. Well, if I had known about the NPA method earlier, I would have found the causes of the illness long ago and changed them. I am so grateful that I have come to the NPA method. Thanks to the wonderful Heidi Plumberg, I have learned NPA, become an NPA practitioner and by learning to use this method in a deeper way, I can help myself first, my loved ones and also other people who have any kind of problem or illness.
